He's not 100% here, I think he's still quite tentative on his feet. That said, he's moving out freely (he was slightly stiffer going right but what else is new). Pastern wraps and gel pads are en route to make him as comfortable as we can. He still very, very ginger on gravel, but I know he's going to be better off for this in the long run. Good boy Riley!

Cavallo Sport Boot -- Day 1 (to be followed with a full product review in a few weeks)

How cool!! I am actually planning to order my Cavallo boots today for my boy for trail riding. He just gets soar on rocks only:) I plan to order the pastern wraps too. Keep us posted for sure.

DeleteWishing you well wear with them, I'm after taking the front shoes back off my youngster now that we'll be doing more arena work then trail riding. Here's hoping her feet will readjust after one pair of front shoes - hopefully she won't be too ouchy!

ReplyDeleteHe deserves it! Poor guy, he's been so miserable over the last couple of months. He's so noticeably more comfortable in the boots (or with pads and shoes) I'll do whatever it takes to keep him happy:)
